On the initiative of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and the European organization EQ-Arts\u2014and involving, in addition to ENSAPC, the Glasgow School of Art, the Athens School of Fine Arts, the Vilnius Academy of Arts, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and the Merz Akademie\u2014CrD is exploring at the European level the question of \u201cthe doctorate through artistic practice.\u201d With funding from the Erasmus+ program and the European Union, the program is generating and gathering, over the period 2018\u20132021, knowledge and recommendations based on the expertise and experience of the partner institutions. Conferences (Athens, May 2019; Paris, November 2019; Amsterdam, 2021) and seminars (Stuttgart, February 2020; Nida, August 2020) are designed to share and exchange existing practices and methods, and to think through the creation of a European frame of reference for programs conferring the practice-based doctorate in art.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong>First Creator Doctus Conference, Athens, May 20\u201321, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Organized by the Athens School of Art, the first Creator Doctus conference was designed to present models of doctoral study in various countries and to facilitate discussion between doctoral candidates and their advisers. Exchanges were anchored by presentations from two invited guests, artist-scholars Carole Gray and Olav Westphalen. Dans un contexte de globalisation et de flux migratoires, son enjeu est de d\u00e9voiler les racines de la mondialisation, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es \u00e0 travers cinq personnes vivant sur cinq continents.<\/p>\n<p>Le colloque interdisciplinaire du vendredi 22 novembre est la premi\u00e8re date du projet Trilogie de la Terre \u00e0 l&#8217;<dfn title=\"Universit\u00e9 de Cergy-Pontoise\">UCP<\/dfn>. Il est d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 Maleh P\u00eah, un chef Toura (nord-ouest de la C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire) ayant v\u00e9cu au d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle. Depuis 1966 ses \u0153uvres d\u00e9ploient des sp\u00e9culations formelles et th\u00e9oriques sur le langage et la question de la signification qui engagent des proc\u00e9dures de traduction interlinguistiques et inters\u00e9miotiques. Historien(ne)s de l\u2019art et philosophes proposeront lors de ce colloque d\u2019ouvrir de nouvelles perspectives d\u2019analyse de son travail.
