PIERRE SAVATIER

Photography

Artist, born in 1954. His work is related to the photographic device; it is a reflection on light and vision. For several years, he has been using the photogram technique, which he considers as a darkroom shot where the notion of randomness holds a great place. In the continuity of this reflection between image and chance, he now uses different types of scanner. His works can be found in public and private collections. He holds a Master of Fine Arts (York University, Toronto, Canada, 1984), a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Paris-VIII, 1979) and a DNSEP (1978).
