Friday 17 and Saturday 18 September at the Théâtre de La Commune (Aubervilliers)
In the context of the double exhibition Ângela Ferreira, structures et gestes -Independence Cha Cha & #BucketsystemMustFall, Ygrec-ENSAPC organizes a symposium in order to open up, share and disseminate the artistic, cultural and social interrogations inherent to Ângela Ferreira’s work.
Entitled: Survivals and ghosts of colonialism in contemporary societies – activisms, research and artistic devices, the symposium will take place on September 17 and 18, 2021 at the Théâtre de La Commune (partner of this project) in Aubervilliers and will involve researchers, artists, students and associative actors.
From July 4 to September 25, 2021, the exhibition Ângela Ferreira, structures et gestes – Independence Cha Cha & #BucketsystemMustFall will take place on two sites: the art center of the Abbaye de Maubuisson, located in Saint Ouen-L’Aumône (95) and Ygrec-ENSAPC, art center of the Ecole nationale supérieure d’arts Paris-Cergy located in Aubervilliers (93).
